hello readers, I'm back! Finally I am free to share with you guys about my dance life again! Few days ago, I was busying with my pre-event for PR, writing news for NPM and of course dance practice for the upcoming events! Everyday, we stay back for dance practice from 5pm-7pm, but I always ciao at 6pm.hahaha...what kind of vice-president is this? hahaha....I DUN CARE la...too tired! my stamina is freeking LOW... WHAT TO DO? after practiced, as usual makan with my bf at Tropicana City Mall or choy kee..haha

Finally, I can rest myself by lying on the sofa and start blogging about my dance life again. OH MY! the day before yesterday I went to ballet class-Advanced 2. It was the hardest lesson that I never ever expected! my beloved teacher is very good in choreographing free work exercises for us just for barre work! oh may, turn here and there until I gt lost! I sweat a lot man! My technique is super weak, so is so hard for me to get the right movement completely. haih...anyways, I won't give up easily. I have to keep it on going until I can manage to dance freely without PAIN!
The next day, I went to college as usual, then after PR meeting with all the heads, I went back home and get myself ready to go for Ballet class again! So good that yesterday was Advanced Foundation class. Well, at least I still remember all the steps. ><" Once I finished my class, I went back home to take dinner and went out again to attend contemporary class in PJ. The funny part is my contem teacher is actually my KDU classmate! His name is Kenny! He is so HOT! I mean when he is dancing la....hahaha...I love all the steps. So cool! fast...slow...fast...slow...This is what I am looking for..^^
Relaxing...I can't open up my leg like him cuz I am wearing shorts! -.-"
Not really a perfecr chest stand but she ady did her best!
I am happy with my life! not wasted! yay!
Coming back to Dance! just have FUN!

well, this is my first time I sat together with them and listening to their conversation...I eventually counted all the bad words...hahaha...total is 3 la...maybe more than that, I can't remember. now, I am sitting at the cafeteria and waiting for PR meeting with all the heads! haih. seriously i hate it cuz so many works not yet done and summore I need to work out with XOXO. FEEL LIKE SLAPPING HIM ON THE SPOT~ he is the one who never do action...pandai cakap tapi tak tai buat! He is just pro in saying that: melody, I know you very good one, help me to type out the proposal ok?
what the hell right? and summore, he dare to email the updated proposal that what exactly the same like I did to our PR directors! never mind, its ok. I did! I did! I did! guys! can you imagine that if you are standing in my situation right now?
okay, I want to take this opportunity to say a BIG THANK YOU to my so call ~yoyo~driver-Marcus and my ~apple face~ secretary-Orange for lending me their hands on the pre-event thingy! Without you guys, I can't find anybody that can let me to lean on your shoulder except my bf la.

hello readers, I'm back. resting on bed and starts blogging! yesterday was a FREESHOW day cuz we just kept dancing non-stop for our next coming Sunsilk event. gosh, we only left 5 days to go...maybe 4 days..gosh..is really like last minute practice. But no worries, we have our sexiest Brandy and June to help up..love them love them>< seriously I can't wait for this comiong SUNSILK event cuz we have free hair wash and set up by them! they are going to take before and after looking of us! hooray!!!!

Sorry readers..I am too bored, let me continue ye.^^"okay, another performance on Halloween night which organised by the LAW department if I'm not mistaken. We really have no idea what to perform cuz we have to act like a ghost or something that make ourselves look UGLY or EMO or whatsoever. But finally brandy and I managed to choreograph 2 new dances. Mine was the beginning and brandy was the second part of the dance. Seriously we enjoyed that night wei><
Guys, guess who are the two ladies that stood behind with a proper Halloween costume? Unexpected was Ms.Peggy, our MRM lecturer and Ms.Stephanie! cool right? For us, they are super duper sweet lecturers with a proper formal dress every day, but that night...they were totally different and we can't really recognized them at first wei...one sweet and one pretty! oh gosh....

Okay...let's begin again! Once I entered my new college, I started to aim for Performing Arts. So luckly that I met this guy randomly in my class. His name is brandy. At first, I thought he was a nice strong tall guy with a perfect body so called"PACKAGE", but once I talked to him, he is a GAY~ cici! hehe....wow! He was interested in PARTS as well so we decided to enter together for the audition and finally we made it! Cool right?
After several months, we became brother and sister la.haha...we were so close to each other wei...he is now the
PRESIDENT in PARTS and I'm the
VICE! Share with you guys on what actually we have done in these whole year (2008)...
Everyone says"HOORAY!"...PARTS is just like a happy family with
MAMA! We practiced every single day before our events date itself! Just want to say that PARTS dancers are not a proper dancers, or maybe have a dance background....NO..YOU ARE TOTALLY WRONG! We join PARTS cuz we want to have fun with everyone, make new friends. enjoy the whole process, make LAME JOkE!yea, that's all!
See...we are not the professional cheer leaders but you know...
WE ARE IN A TEAM! WE ARE A FAMILY!
Seriously we practiced so hard to do a stunts! Pity nicholas, adam, edward and marcus...they have to carry these fatty little girl...hahha...but they enjoyed it very much and the most important part was they wun GIVE UP! Big huggie to all of you guys! So corporate with one another.

Dear readers,
As you can see" The first steps of the dance from classroom to stage" is really meaningful right? haha...Last year Rhapsody had organised a concert and all the ballerinas got the chance to perform on stage!
FINALLY! I felt impressed with my teacher Chingli because she choreographed all the dances for each grades. As you know, each grades has different levels. She can managed to choreograph all the dances on time before our concert. Proudly present my gorgeous Ballet teacher and all my wonderful ballerinas!
Such a lovely fabulous teacher just got married in this year and all of her higher grades students include me,myself took a picture together with her.

I used to perform at lot of places like Shareton Hotel, Esteen Hotel, and others which I cant really remember. hehe...erm, mostly Chinese traditional dance, modern dance, Latin and back to 60s classical dance. I can admit that i am dam sucks in LATIN. oh gosh, I can't imagine I myself dancing latin solo in front of all the uncles and aunties. Let me see whether I still have the photos anot...oh no...I dun have a soft copy of it. but its OK, share with you these "ugly pic"hehe....

Oh yeah, I used to be one of a small little cheerleader when I was in form 1. That time I used to be the thinnest one and forced to become a "flyer"(dunno how to spell) but it was fun though. We won Best Showmanship award in year 2003. I only kept 1 picture in my lappie, the rest are all in my photo album.

Ballet is not easy!

I always tell myself that WE MUST ENJOY BALLET! When I pass through Intermediate foundation, Intermediate, Advanced Foundation...I realised that Ballet is not easy. I have to understand all the names of every single movement.
Why not for once try and enjoy the beautiful art of the dance without everlastingly dissecting its limitations or adding with similar words it attributes? Why not for once, let us say we enjoy ballet, because of the beauty, the feminine charm and the athletic strength it can bring to the average uninitiated onlooker?
Technique is the most important that my dear teacher always emphasized on in class.
"I like ballet, but I don't understand it", or " I enjoyed it although I don't know what it is all about". I attended lots of workshops and I realised that 2 things that we really need to focus on which are THE STANCE and TURN-OUT.
The Stance
At the beginning of my training has to learn to stand correctly. The placing of the hips, and shoulders, is the most important thing to understand. The hips must be directly over the feet; the back straight, the whole feeling in the body of growing up, with the slightest inclination forward. Well, that's all I know from my master, Loo Chingli. you can try it, is not easy though!
"kai-le, TURN OUT la...."(hit my ass) The most most most important technical of the classical dance is the turn-out of the legs from the hip to the hip of the toe. The unnatural opening from the groin gives beauty to the line of the body and is essential to the classical form.
